Description of Certificate Offerings (all course offerings are virtual)
Entrepreneurship/Small Business Management Certificate
(90 days—3months) 12 hours per week meeting time
Entrepreneurship is defined as ‘the act of starting and running your own business or a tendency to be creative and wish to work for yourself in your own ventures.’ This program is perfect for two types of people. Those who found themselves out of work because of the early conditions of the pandemic, or those who struggled to stay with an employer but think the time is now to strike out on their own. The curriculum introduces key issues in entrepreneurship, such as building and growing a business from scratch, personal characteristics shared by successful entrepreneurs, and where to find resources available to budding entrepreneurs. Completing this program will set a student on the path for a successful launch of a new business or more business management knowledge to allow them to pivot the direction of a current small business.
Human Resources Certificate
(60 days—2 months) 12 hours per week meeting time
The design of this program fits Human Resource Management professionals looking to remain current with innovations and procedures in HR but limited on time needed for long-term instruction. People looking to get into HR Management are also encouraged to apply to acquire training and experience. This course will teach the basics of managing the benefits and policies that support an effective staff, along with strategies to address common HR issues covering anti-discrimination regulations, pay policies, the process of hiring and firing employees, and more. Completing this course will put an HR professional on the path to keeping their organization’s most valuable assets–its people–working with as little stress as possible.
Digital Marketing Fundamentals Certificate Program
(6 weeks) 12 hours per week meeting time
Just because the ‘kids are doing it,’ doesn’t mean managing the world of social media as a digital marketer is child’s play. This is a program for aspiring marketing professionals looking to improve their knowledge and application of the theory and practice of digital marketing. This program will teach you terminology and strategy to use for internet searches, social media management, producing web analytics, and producing effective marketing and advertising plans across all digital platforms.

Businesses have learned the benefits of using accounting software to help with tracking accounts receivable and accounts payable while producing reports that show clear proof of profitability and preps for needed tax season receipts. Moving up past the traditional paper ledger and even the use of spreadsheets is crucial for growing businesses. This program will help those looking to carve out a niche in Human Resources or Accounting get a company up to speed by teaching the fundamental of three of the most popular accounts software programs on the market today: QuickBooks, Zoho Books, and Fresh Books. While each program has specific strengths and customer bases, this program will afford the fundamental skills that all have in common, including organizing data, invoicing customers, receiving and processing payments, tracking expenses and time, and producing a wide array of reports.

Badges Accredited Via International Business Machines Corporation
The IBM Certification/Badge Program allows grant students to earn certifications, denoted as ‘badges,’ in various technology fields that are in demand. The training for each badge will be instructor lead for three weeks, and at the successful completion of each test, you will be officially certified in the area(s) of your choice to show your badge(s) and get hired immediately! The curriculum and certification test are provided by a grant from IBM, with badge eligibility in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, Enterprise Design Thinking.
Certificate in Apple (Swift) Coding
Certificates Accredited Via Apple Computer, Inc.
This program will prepare students for college or a career in application development using the Swift programming language, the language used by Apple to develop programs for its iOS operating systems. Swift is a comprehensive coding offering intended for students in grades nine and above. This learning track focused on Apple coding will last six weeks and consist of quizzes and in-class projects, with final certification determined by completing an end-of-course project and a final examination. Program participants are required to meet with the instructors for 6 hours weekly for the course duration.
Microsoft Office Specialist
(6 hours per week, 3 months, 12 weeks)

The Microsoft Office Specialist Certification course provides an overview of the three most prominent applications in the Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Instruction for each application will span four weeks, with the total duration of this course at 12 weeks. Course participants will meet for 6 hours per week for the period. Upon conclusion, participants receive an opportunity to test for an official Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification in each application. Assessment methods for this course include quizzes and in-class projects, with end-of-course projects and examinations as well.

Certificates Accredited Via WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust)
The Wine & Spirit Education Trust provides globally recognized education and qualifications in wines, spirits, and sake, for professionals and enthusiasts. Thanks to a partnership with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, the Reimagine Grant Program can offer a course that will put a participant on the path to earning a WSET Level 1 Award in Wines, even if they have little or no prior knowledge of wines. This course of study will provide a sound but simple introduction to wines. The course will explore the critical stages of the lifecycle of wine production, the principal types and styles of wine, state the key characteristics of wines, and know the fundamental principles involved in the storage and service of wine. Completing this certification should provide the holder with familiarity with the main types and styles of wines, suitable for people who work with wines as part of a more extensive beverage portfolio in the retail and hospitality sectors. They will consequently be able to answer customer queries and provide recommendations for the service of wine.
