Shorter College is a participant of the Arkansas Course Transfer System (ACTS), which guarantees the transfer of applicable credits and equitable treatment in the application of credits for admissions and degree requirements within the state of Arkansas, for all public institutions and participating private institutions. Shorter College is a member of the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), [15935 Forest Road, Forest, VA 24551; Telephone: (434) 525-9539; email: info@tracs.org]. The institution was awarded Accredited Status as a Category I Institution by the TRACS Accreditation Commission on October 29, 2013 and was awarded Reaffirmation Status as a Category I Institution by TRACS Accreditation Commission on October 23, 2017. This status is effective for a period of ten years. TRACS is recognized by the United States Department of Education, the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education. (INQAAHE).
